This course will provide the knowledge and skills required to conduct clinical trials ethically and safely, giving consideration to the scientific and cultural appropriateness of different clinical trial designs to optimise the contribution to advanced practice.

It will taught by a collaborative team that includes Unitec and Green Lane Coordinating Centre (GLCC) staff. GLCC is an Auckland based Academic Research Organisation (ARO) that provides clinical trial management  to the pharmaceutical, biotechnology and device industry in New Zealand and the Asia Pacific region, including clinical trial services such as Ethics and Regulatory Submissions, Clinical Operations Management, Project Management, Site Management and Monitoring, Data Management, Statistics, Clinical Event Coordination, GCP Training and Education.

GLCC staff are all experienced in clinical trail management.

There will be one long class each week, but you will also be expected to contribute to the online forums.
