The aim of this course is to enable the student to critically examine and contextualise practice and research (relevant to discipline and across disciplines) in relation to contemporary and historical issues in New Zealand workplaces and society.
Consideration is given Tikanga Māori, Te Reo Māori, social policy, ethics, environment and law.
In this course you will cover: Personal and professional contexts of practice; Tikanga Tauaro - Influence of law and ethics on professional practice; and Reflective practice.
