You will learn to locate documentary films and production techniques in their historical, social and political contexts and develop critical understanding of individual and collaborative approaches to documentary screen production, particularly in the context of the Aotearoa-New Zealand/Moana-Pacific region. You will be able to employ a range of theoretical concepts to develop a practice and story-led realisation of a short documentary film.
