This course will introduce the science and principles of wellbeing as examined through the lens of cultural models of health.
By the end of this course, students will be able to:
1. Demonstrate an understanding of cultural perspectives of wellbeing as they relate to individual lifestyle and community health.
2. Evaluate evidence-based principles of an individual’s lifestyle as they relate to health and wellbeing.
3. Construct a set of lifestyle recommendations that meet the needs of an individual, based on your understanding of health and wellbeing.
