Email address synchronisation between MyUnitec Portal and Moodle

Dear students,

From 15 April 2011 all student email addresses on Moodle will be synchronised with the email addresses recorded in the MyUnitec Portal (a web based link to the official PeopleSoft system). All existing Moodle email addresses will be replaced by the email addresses recorded on the Portal.

Please login to the MyUnitec Portal and check that your email address is correct.
  • To login go to www.myunitec.ac.nz, put in your login information (same as your normal Unitec username and password) and click Login.
  • Click MyRecords (please check a popup window comes up, if not please allow popups for myunitec.ac.nz).
  • Once the popup window appears click on "Personal Information", then click "Email Address".
  • Change your email address (make sure the preferred option is selected correctly) and then click Save.
It is very important you do this, otherwise Unitec will not be able to correspond with you. If you ever change your email address you will need to go back to the MyUnitec Portal to update Unitec's records.

If you need assistance please contact the Ask I.T. Help Desk by calling extension 8484.

Thank you for your cooperation.
