Background:
Sue Ward-O’Brien is a second year Bachelor of Social Practice tauira/student. Sue’s Special Topic of Interest will focus on the area of the ‘Medically Fragile Child’ (MFC). This Special Topic of Interest will explore the complexities and possibilities that are available for working alongside and supporting whānau and families involved with caring in the MFC context, moreover, will include reviewing culturally appropriate responses. In addition; undertaking this particular exploration will be the initial proposal for a wider research project in the future.
